In his compositions his African roots converge with all these musical experiences and together with his
style of playing the trumpet and his delicate manner of singing form a compact atmospheric unity.

The band members Laia Genc, Peter Ehwald, Pascal Niggenkemper, Maxime Begun and Mirek Pyschny, almost all of them students of the Academy of Music in Cologne, belong to that steadily growing group of young outstanding jazz musicians who yet in their twenties are graced with an amazing maturity of technique and musical sensitivity.

This band of newcomers, a discovery made last year and now a tip from insiders for insiders, will undoubtedly thrill extensive segments of its audience.
